Terra and Terminal
Traversing the Digital and Natural Worlds
Hello World! I am James, a DevOps and Infrastructure engineer living and working in Tokyo, Japan. I am quite fortunate to have a job where I spend most of my day handling Networking, DevOps, and Linux servers as I am passionate about these technologies. So much so, that as soon as I finish work, I look forward to getting home and working on some project in my homelab. Of course, I have several other interests outside of technology including cycling, hiking, camping, gardening, and just generally enjoying being in the great outdoors.
That brings me to why this website exists. One thing I want to improve is my writing skills. I think the best way to improve something is to practice. So I decided to create this blog to practice writing and sharing my love of the great outdoors(Terra) and technology(Terminal) with those who might find it interesting. I plan to write blog posts based around my interests in technology, nature, and exploration all while hopefully improving my writing skills as I go. This site is quite new, so please be patient while I build it out and start getting some blog posts put in.
Thank you for visiting my blog and until the next adventure!
